IVORY-MARKED LONGHORN BEETLE
I've read that the larvae of these beetles can bore deeply into the heartwood of trees, and that
they may emerge years later, even after the wood has been milled and made into furniture!
(Hmmm ... Now that I think about it, I'm wondering how this guy got into my house?)
