CRUNCH
Unfortunately for the owner of this automobile, a very masssive tree came down directly upon his or
her vehicle. I had approached this calamity from the other direction and was totally unaware of
the fact that the tree had landed on a car. Click here to view the scene from the opposite side.
SNAPPED
Sadly, this very old and very tall tree in Old West Austin
was knocked over by the storm's considerable force.

BROKEN FALL
I rode up 9th Street into Clarksville and found this twisted and cracked limb resting on
the roof of a house at the top of the hill. Fortunately, the damage does not appear to
be fatal to the tree, and the house does not appear to have been severely damaged.
A PRAYER FOR THE TREES
I noticed these women on the parking lot outside of Casa de Luz, standing in this position
for an extended period of time. I am not sure as to the significance, but on this day,
it gave me the impression that they were celebrating the souls of the lost trees.
